Yes, you can! However, that is not the only service Hot by 6 is offering. Hot by 6 is an entire system to help you be more efficient with your meal planning, including make ahead freezer meals. What you cannot find elsewhere is a website that offers a simple step by step approach to meal planning with all freezer friendly meals and the extensive group features so you can enjoy it with friends!
I am trying to save money, why should I spend $6 more per month?
Imagine what one less trip to the grocery store would save you, we guarantee it is way more than $6. In addition to the trips to the store, by creating a meal plan for a week or even a month using your Hot by 6 Membership you'll have a categorized shopping list which will save you time and you'll be buying items in bulk which will save you even more money. Hot by 6 saves you both time and money in more ways than just providing recipes for make ahead freezer dinners!
Can't I organize a group assembly session for make and take meals on my own?
Many years ago we held group cooking sessions to assemble make and take meals and did everything manually. Yikes, that was a lot of work and we did this once a month for years! The whole purpose of Hot by 6 was to eliminate that work. We wanted great reward with minimal effort! When we did it the hard way we would have to start planning our make and take meals assembly session several weeks out and spend many hours preparing. No one has that time these days and the point of the group cooking session was to save time, not create several weeks worth of work. Hot by 6 group cooking sessions to assemble make and take meals can be planned fast and easy, the hard part is done for you!
How do I explain Hot by 6 to my friends?
We will do that for you! After you sign up simply log in and click the 'Invite a Friend' button. He/She will receive an invitation that will introduce him or her to Hot by 6! They can also visit www.hotby6.com and view our Member Benefits and FAQ's sections.
Why is it important to connect my friends to my cooking group?
There are many features that will not work as intended for cooking groups unless all members are signed up under your group name. For example, you send the menu to friends with one click and they enter the number of meals they'd like by each menu item and hit submit. Work is complete! Your group grocery list automatically calculates as each member submits their order. The number of meals ordered is printed by each group member's name at the bottom of each meal assembly sheet so they can be quickly passed out on assembly night. Each member's cooking directions sheet doubles as a checklist for their cooler and shows a box for each meal ordered so they can be checked off as they are placed in each cooler throughout the night. There are soooo many other group features that have been added to increase efficiency that you can only utilize if your cooking group is set up how Hot by 6 intended it to be.
Does Hot by 6 have to be used as a group?
Not at all! All of our members utilize Hot by 6 differently. Some prefer to make their freezer meals ahead of time on their own while others prefer a group to assemble their make and take meals. Either way we recommend that everyone utilize Hot by 6 throughout each month whether you want to create a meal plan for that week or want to log on quickly and grab a shopping list on your way out the door for dinner that night. The more often you take advantage of the meal planning features the more time and money you will save!
Can I preview the recipes before I sign up?
